Role Overview

We are seeking an After Sales Manager based in Tralee, County Kerry to serve as a primary, knowledgeable contact for ENERCON's customers regarding all technical and commercial inquiries. This position involves comprehensive management of after-sales accounts, acting as the holistic client relationship manager to ensure customer satisfaction and contract fulfillment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the initial competent point of contact for technical and commercial customer queries.
  • Manage after-sales accounts with full accountability for client relationships.
  • Coordinate resolution of customer issues with regional service teams.
  • Oversee Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contracts.
  • Act as the key liaison for all post-sale service activities execution.
  • Deploy and coordinate regional after-sales expertise for effective and prompt customer issue resolution.
  • Develop innovative contract models and new product concepts.
  • Handle all contractual commitments and warranties linked to service contracts in collaboration with after-sales specialists.
  • Maintain active engagement and regular communication with customers.
  • Negotiate and independently manage service contracts, including maintenance and additional agreements, and ensure compliance with terms.
  • Facilitate sales processes for major component replacements including negotiations and quotations.
  • Suggest and promote additional or alternative products/services tailored to customer requirements.
  • Compile necessary documentation, reports, technical data to meet customer and company standards.
  • Represent customer perspectives within the service team, serving as the professional interface between customers and ENERCON.
  • Manage and de-escalate critical issues such as hot spots, significant component replacements, and complex customer complaints, including overseeing approval and credit note processes.
  • Support internal process improvements.
  • Review and approve customer creditworthiness within delegated authority.
  • Engage with internal specialist departments and proactively expand knowledge in wind energy areas.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Customer Service.
  • Preferred degree or master's in Business Economics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Strong organizational capabilities.
  • Assertive, adaptable, and personable with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Positive and proactive multitasking skills with excellent time management.
  • High discretion handling confidential contractual and financial data.
  • Familiarity with commercial, contractual, and technical aspects of the energy sector.
  • Proficient in MS Office; SAP experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and motivational abilities.
  • Strong social competence for building and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Possession of a full clean driver's license.
  • Experience in the Wind Industry is considered an asset.

Location and Work Schedule

The position is office-based in Tralee, Co. Kerry. Candidates are expected to work in the office five days over every two-week period, with Wednesday designated as a mandatory in-office day.

This role reports to the Team Leader for After Sales GB & IE.
