Site Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Site Engineer to join a prominent design and construction delivery firm supporting a significant infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role offers the chance to contribute to the successful completion of a broad infrastructure development encompassing civil, landscaping, and electro-mechanical systems.

Project Scope

• Execution of groundworks and earthworks
• Road construction and related infrastructure installation
• Fencing installations
• Landscaping projects
• Electro-mechanical (MEP) works

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities at the construction site, ensuring compliance with approved designs, technical specifications, and project requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and other project participants.
• Track site progress and assist in ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Perform site inspections to guarantee adherence to quality and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards.
• Review and analyze technical documentation including drawings and method statements.
• Assist with testing procedures, inspections, and smooth handover of project phases.
• Keep detailed records and reports related to site performance and progress.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in site engineering, preferably with large infrastructure or development projects.
• Prior involvement with roadworks, earthworks, landscaping, fencing, and coordination of MEP components is desirable.
• Solid knowledge of construction techniques, quality assurance, and HSE protocols.
• Effective communication, coordination abilities, and problem-solving skills are essential.
