Role Purpose
The SEO Specialist will support the SEO team by executing a variety of technical, link-building, and content SEO tasks for diverse clients. This role is ideal for an inquisitive, hands-on candidate eager to learn and contribute to measurable SEO outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with technical SEO implementations, link-building initiatives, and content optimization strategies.
- Conduct comprehensive SEO keyword research to identify growth opportunities.
- Track SEO performance trends, detect algorithm updates, and report on their impacts.
- Research and apply SEO recommendations to improve client sites.
- Analyze competitors to inform SEO strategies.
- Coordinate link-building activities aligned with client goals.
- Support administrative, content, and marketing tasks internally and for clients.
- Contribute to blogging and social media content development.
- Help create internal weekly newsletters.
Performance Metrics
- Consistent and reliable completion of assigned tasks.
- High quality and accuracy in execution.
- Rapid acquisition of SEO knowledge and skills.
- Active collaboration and contribution within the team.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional SEO experience, preferably in agency or freelance settings.
- Hands-on management of large-scale websites with over 100,000 pages.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMrush, and AI SEO tools.
- Excellent communication and writing skills suitable for client interactions.
- Ability to work autonomously and juggle multiple assignments effectively.
- Strong teamwork skills, especially within remote teams.
- Familiarity with WordPress is a plus.
Additional Details
- Position: SEO Specialist in the Digital Delivery department, reporting to the Head of SEO.
- Employment is full-time for candidates residing in Australia with a valid Australian tax number, or contractor status otherwise.
- Work schedule is full-time with fixed term engagement.
- Targeted time zones for applicants are GMT+7 through GMT+12.
