Role Overview
The Scrum Master will play a critical role in supporting delivery across a large-scale transformation program aimed at modernising claims and customer service capabilities. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Solution Architects, Data Scientists, Product Owners, Delivery Leads, and business stakeholders to maintain team alignment and value delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Agile ceremonies and encourage continuous improvement within delivery teams.
- Coach teams to fully embrace Agile methodologies and principles.
- Identify, manage, and escalate delivery risks, issues, and dependencies proactively.
- Collaborate with technical experts like Solution Architects and Data Scientists to address delivery challenges and sustain progress.
- Cultivate a culture of trust, accountability, and high performance among teams.
- Engage stakeholders from business and technology sectors to foster alignment.
- Monitor delivery milestones and ensure priorities align with transformation objectives.
Candidate Requirements
- Demonstrable experience as a Scrum Master managing complex technology or business transformation initiatives.
- Deep expertise in Agile delivery with the capacity to coach and influence diverse stakeholder groups.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship management capabilities.
- Ability to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills to identify early risks and dependencies.
- Experience working within large enterprise settings.
- Capability to handle ambiguity while maintaining delivery momentum in dynamic environments.
- Background in insurance, financial services, or similarly regulated industries is preferred.
- Exposure to AI, data analytics, or digital transformation projects is advantageous.
- Relevant Agile certifications are required.
Contract Details and Work Arrangement
- This is an initial 6-month contract role with potential for extension.
- Hybrid working model requiring office presence approximately five days every fortnight.
