Overview

Join Tātaki Auckland Unlimited as a Screen Auckland Coordinator and play a pivotal role in supporting Auckland's screen industry, a key pillar of the city's creative economy. This position involves assisting with local and international film productions, managing operations, and ensuring a smooth permitting process to foster exceptional production experiences in the region. Your contribution will be central to maintaining Auckland's reputation as a premier global screen destination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate team operations and manage film permitting processes to facilitate productions across Auckland.
  • Handle administration tasks, budgeting support, financial tracking, communications, reporting, and deliver industry events and hosting programs.
  • Assist with straightforward permit applications and collaborate closely with the Facilitation team for effective service delivery.
  • Support enquiry responses and maintain systems and procedures that underpin Screen Auckland's functions.

Candidate Profile

  • Highly organized and detail-conscious, capable of juggling multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Experienced in project coordination, administration, events, communications, or creative/local government sectors.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 and other business systems for accurate information management.
  • Strong financial administration skills including purchase orders, invoicing, and budget monitoring.
  • Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Skilled in building and nurturing positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Technologically adept and quick to learn new digital platforms.
  • Exercises sound judgment, knowing when to act autonomously or seek escalation.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented with a strong customer service focus and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Appreciates and respects Te Tiriti o Waitangi, with cultural sensitivity towards Māori and diverse communities.
  • Interest in film production, the creative sector, or Auckland's screen industry is essential.
  • Must hold a full New Zealand Driver’s licence.

Additional Information

Successful applicants will be hired within the salary range of NZD 80,000 to 85,000 annually. The role offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment with varied daily activities.
