Product Manager, Vello

About the Role

IDEXX is looking for a dedicated Product Manager to lead the development of innovative software products, including Vello, a platform that bridges veterinary practices with pet owners. This position offers the chance to contribute significantly to a key component of IDEXX's software portfolio amidst a transformative phase focusing on enhancing veterinary practice management through advanced software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive market and user research to inform product decisions.
• Act as the primary expert and advocate for the product internally and externally.
• Own the business case development and maintain a well-defined backlog of user stories.
• Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, and provide continuous engineering support as a key liaison.
• Communicate proactively within and outside the team to ensure alignment.
• Measure product success and report outcomes clearly.
• Coordinate dependencies and collaboration across multiple teams and squads.
• Drive the ideation, design, and rollout of B2B and B2B2C veterinary software innovations.
• Gather and incorporate inputs from diverse stakeholders to develop effective product strategies and roadmaps.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, and design teams to deliver robust products on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience as a Product Manager, preferably with B2B and B2C products.
• Proven ability to manage all phases of the product lifecycle successfully.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization with cross-functional teams.
