About the Role
Join our FinTech team at North, working remotely in the US (Eastern Time) as a Product Manager. You'll help build innovative, user-centric payment products like Payanywhere and Payments Hub that empower merchants to accept payments seamlessly. This opportunity offers flexibility as a generalist PM, allowing placement in various domains such as Payments, Disputes, or Reporting, according to your skills and interests.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire product lifecycle, from initial discovery to final delivery.
- Analyze complex datasets to generate insightful recommendations that support merchant business growth.
- Establish clear success metrics to evaluate user adoption and feature effectiveness.
- Define and document detailed requirements collaboratively with stakeholders and engineering teams.
- Coordinate beta testing to gather feedback and suggest product improvements before launch.
- Communicate product development progress and plan go-to-market strategies.
- Create and maintain training materials to align internal teams and sales with product knowledge.
- Advocate for merchants and their customers by ensuring a stable, secure, and smooth payment experience.
- Gather and prioritize feedback from merchants, partners, and internal teams.
- Research market trends and monitor the competitive landscape to inform product decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or technical discipline.
- At least two years’ experience in product management.
- Strong preference for candidates with payments or FinTech domain exposure.
- Demonstrated success in delivering products from inception to launch.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for understanding and addressing user needs.
- Ability to influence stakeholders positively and maintain robust business relationships.
- Self-driven and capable of navigating uncertainty effectively.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $130,000 annually, varying by location and candidate expertise.
