On-Call Dispatch and Production Assistant

About the Role

Join our dynamic coffee production team as an On-Call Dispatch and Production Assistant based in Parnell, Auckland. This temporary, casual position offers the flexibility to work shifts on an as-needed basis while contributing to the preparation and dispatch of our premium coffee products.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhering to daily production schedules to fulfill operational goals
• Setting up, running, and maintaining coffee production machinery efficiently
• Conducting quality control checks and calibration weigh tests to ensure product consistency
• Grinding coffee beans while upholding quality standards
• Packing and labeling coffee products for retail and wholesale shipments
• Supporting dispatch tasks including palletizing and organizing goods for distribution
• Keeping the workspace clean, safe, and orderly
• Providing assistance to the team during high workload periods

Candidate Profile

• Previous work experience in production, dispatch, warehousing, or machine operation; food manufacturing experience is a plus
• Strong dedication to health and safety practices
• Good communication skills paired with a cooperative, helpful attitude
• Dependable, punctual, and ready to work on short notice
• Ability to provide recent employment references
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting
