Role Overview
Joining our Broadcast Team as a Junior Producer, you will coordinate and support both the Broadcast and Draw Teams in managing live National Lottery draws from Television Centre. Your role includes acting as the liaison for internal stakeholders and external suppliers, enhancing awareness of these teams within Allwyn UK and the wider group. Reporting to the Senior Producer, you will collaborate closely with multiple departments such as Technology, Studio 59, Brand & Marketing, and more.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee administrative tasks for the Security Department including purchase orders, diary and rota management, acting as contact for Customer Operations, suppliers, Finance, and Procurement.
- Manage department rotas for Duty Broadcast Managers and Draw Associates, ensuring up-to-date coverage and communication of changes.
- Serve as the main contact for Duty Broadcast Manager and Draw Associate inquiries and facilitate onboarding procedures for new team members.
- Help maintain the operational readiness of Television Centre and Clarendon Works streaming studios by managing pass requests, visitor access, and coordinating routine and emergency maintenance onsite when necessary.
- Assist in tracking all live draw stream work via WorkFront.
- Support the Senior Producer with daily business tasks including producing draw example materials and decks, and liaising with external vendors.
- Write and edit the weekly draw voice-over scripts and coordinate with voice-over artists, ensuring quality assurance for live broadcast.
- Organize team events such as tours and away days.
- Manage clip license requests, clearances, releases, and music licensing as needed, providing appropriate documentation.
- Aid the Senior Producer in managing annual production budgets and completing monthly self-assessments related to Controls testing.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, preferably from a background in television or video production environments.
- Proficient with MS OneDrive, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for document and tracker management.
- Understanding of broadcast television, live streaming, online video production processes, and social media platforms.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, specifically Premiere Pro and Audition.
- Editing experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
