About QBCC
The Queensland Building and Construction Commission (QBCC) operates as the independent regulator for building and construction in Queensland. Our mission is to safeguard communities, support industry stakeholders, and foster trust in a system affecting safe housing, community livability, employment, and economic stability.

The successful candidate will deliver quality advocacy in various proceedings, including administrative review, disciplinary actions at the Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal, judicial reviews at the Supreme Court, and appeals at higher judicial bodies.
Responsibilities also include providing specialized legal advice through thorough legislative and policy research, identifying legal approaches, and serving both internal QBCC teams and external parties effectively.
Litigation duties encompass managing cases, formulating strategies, and preparing nuanced legal documents such as reasons for decisions, applications, witness statements, briefs, submissions, and related correspondence.
