About the Role
Hotel Equities, an award-winning hospitality development and management company, is hiring a Laundry Attendant for Tru by Hilton in Bracebridge, Ontario. This position focuses on handling hotel linens and guest laundry with accuracy, care, and a strong service mindset.
What You'll Do
- Sort, wash, dry, press, and fold clothing and other textile items.
- Treat stains using the proper cleaning methods.
- Carry out small sewing and mending tasks when needed.
- Maintain records to ensure items are matched with the correct owner.
- Monitor stock levels of detergent, sewing supplies, and other laundry materials.
- Keep track of equipment upkeep, maintenance needs, and repair follow-ups.
- Maintain a clean and orderly laundry area at all times.
- Respond helpfully to guest questions, issues, and service concerns.
- Provide or manage tokens and change for laundry machines when required.
What We're Looking For
- A high school diploma or equivalent is considered an advantage.
- Previous experience in a comparable laundry or housekeeping role is preferred.
- Comfort using laundry chemicals, cleaning products, and laundry equipment.
- Ability to remain standing for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds without assistance.
- Basic math skills are required.
- Strong organization and time management abilities.
- Good analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Friendly, service-oriented communication style.
- Willingness to work shifts, including weekends.
Additional Requirements

Reading skills are used frequently for paperwork and for recording issues, complaints, requests, and updates.
