Role Summary
This role partners with department leaders and the HR department to cultivate an optimal workplace environment, directly assisting team members with HR inquiries and engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Encourage a healthy work atmosphere and promote awareness of support programs for employees
- Respond confidentially to employee questions regarding HR policies both verbally and in writing
- Advise management on personnel matters, escalating complex issues as needed
- Assist with payroll processes, including weekly audits, reporting, exception resolution, and liaison with staffing agencies
- Report on completion of online training and support employees in fulfilling assigned courses
- Serve as the on-site contact for Leaves of Absence administration
- Conduct new hire orientation and participate in onboarding activities
- Support recruitment and interviewing efforts
- Assist employees with benefit enrollment and facilitate open enrollment sessions
- Help implement team recognition programs and encourage employee engagement
- Participate in marketing initiatives both internally and externally
- Perform additional duties as assigned

- Strong comprehension and adherence to company policies, procedures, and conduct codes

Job Details
- Full-time position with standard workweek of 40 hours, Monday through Friday; occasional weekend or shift work may be necessary
- Minimal travel is expected
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of experience within a human resources role
- Minimum one year in a position requiring strong computer skills such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with varying requirements
