Role Responsibilities

This position requires partnering with leaders throughout the entire employee lifecycle by delivering top-quality consultation, coaching, and guidance. You'll work directly on daily people matters such as recruitment, employee relations, performance evaluation, and engagement, while also contributing to broader organizational HR initiatives. Reporting to the Head of People, Safety and Sustainability, this role values strong judgment and relationship management as no two days are alike.

Required Skills and Experience

• Established experience providing HR advice to both leaders and employees
• Proficiency in employee relations, performance management, talent development, and fostering a positive organizational culture
• Comprehensive understanding of New Zealand employment laws
• Ability to handle sensitive situations and resolve conflicts constructively
• Strong interpersonal and influencing capabilities with a solution-oriented mindset
• Experience in fast-paced, multi-location working environments
• Relevant tertiary qualification is highly valued
