Position Overview

We are seeking a Deputy Manager for our Limerick store who will play a pivotal role in maintaining operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Your Contributions

• Maintain operational excellence by ensuring compliance with store processes, company regulations, and key performance indicators while assisting the Store Manager in performance analysis and improvement.
• Enhance customer engagement by guiding your team to provide personalized advice and maintain a welcoming, clean store environment.
• Lead by example to foster team development, engagement, and a workplace culture rooted in trust and respect through training and support.
• Manage merchandising and inventory to ensure shelves are fully stocked, planograms are properly followed, and accurate inventory control is maintained.
• Uphold brand integrity by ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare are met, advocating responsible pet ownership in line with Maxi Zoo Ireland's values.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in retail leadership roles, particularly as a Deputy Manager.
• Ability to take initiative, lead with empathy, and ensure smooth store operation in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Strong desire for professional growth with aspirations to evolve into a future Store Manager role.
