Role Overview

We are looking to hire full-time certified dog groomers across Dublin. In this role, you will build strong bonds with pet owners and their dogs, tailoring grooming styles to each pet's personality and preferences. From initial shampoo to the final look, you will take pride in delivering personalized, high-quality grooming experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Consult with pet owners to understand their needs and offer tailored advice alongside related product recommendations.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by performing reliable, professional grooming to the highest standards consistently.
• Conduct follow-ups with customers post-appointment to ensure satisfaction and promptly resolve any concerns.
• Maintain a hygienic and orderly grooming salon by sanitizing equipment, washing towels and tools, and ensuring safety for both animals and staff.
• Stay knowledgeable about grooming services and products to advise clients effectively and promote additional offerings.

Candidate Requirements

• Availability to work full-time across five days, including weekends, with flexible scheduling.
• Prior practical grooming experience in a salon environment and/or relevant qualifications such as QQI Level 6 Dog Grooming or City & Guilds certification.
• Proficiency in grooming and clipping various dog breeds to a professional standard.
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to build trust and rapport with customers and team members.
• Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize and complete multiple tasks within set deadlines.
• Passion for animals and confidence in handling all dog breeds, treating each with care and respect.
• Self-motivated with a desire for ongoing professional growth, reliability, curiosity, and a long-term career vision in pet grooming.
