Data Analyst

Overview

Burjline Builders is looking for a meticulous and analytical Data Analyst to support business functions by collecting, evaluating, and interpreting data that drives decision-making and operational effectiveness. The successful candidate will engage with multiple departments to uncover trends, track performance, and deliver meaningful insights to enhance guest satisfaction and streamline operations.

Key Duties

• Gather, organize, cleanse, and analyze data sourced from various business and operational platforms.
• Create and sustain reports, dashboards, and visual data presentations for managerial and internal audiences.
• Track critical performance metrics related to guest involvement, operational activities, sales, and overall business outcomes.
• Recognize patterns, emerging trends, and potential enhancements through comprehensive data examination.
• Work closely with teams such as Guest Services, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and HR to bolster data-driven projects.
• Conduct data integrity verification and resolve inconsistencies or anomalies.
• Compile transparent, precise summaries of data insights, providing actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
• Employ analytics platforms including Microsoft Excel, SQL databases, Power BI, Tableau, or comparable tools to facilitate reporting and evaluation.
• Handle spontaneous data requests and contribute to specialized analytical assignments.
• Document data sources, report generation techniques, and analysis approaches thoroughly.
• Adhere strictly to company policies for responsible management and confidentiality of business data.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree preferred in fields such as Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• Prior background in data analysis, business intelligence, or reporting roles is advantageous.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to manage and analyze datasets.
• Working knowledge of SQL and database systems is desired.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is beneficial.
• Strong analytical capabilities, critical thinking, and problem-solving aptitude.
• Keen attention to detail and dedication to maintaining accurate data quality.
• Effective written and oral communication skills to articulate findings to diverse audiences.
• Ability to independently juggle multiple projects, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
