Position Overview
At our Darmstadt site, we are seeking a Customs Specialist (m/f/d) to join our team immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Classification and management of foreign trade data.
- Preparation of import and export instructions for our service providers.
- Creation of customs documentation such as Carnet ATA and A.TR.
- Compilation and reporting of the monthly intra-trade statistics.
- Cross-departmental support on all relevant customs issues.
- Requesting and issuing supplier declarations.
- Screening against sanction lists.
- Development and delivery of internal training sessions.
- Creation and updating of process descriptions.
- Participation in customs-related projects.
- Invoice verification tasks.
- Maintenance of statistics related to customs processes.
Required Profile
- Completed commercial training in freight forwarding or industrial sector.
- Initial knowledge in transport, logistics, and import/export clearance is advantageous.
- Responsible, structured, and independent working style.
- Quick comprehension skills and a high level of commitment.
- Excellent German language skills and good command of English, both written and spoken.
