Construction Manager - Fit-out & Joinery

Role Overview

As a Construction Manager specializing in Fit-out and Joinery, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing assigned engineering projects with accuracy and efficiency. You will enforce industry standards and best practices, manage client interactions, lead technical and commercial meetings, and oversee contract and commercial matters related to projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead scheduling and coordination for engineering projects ensuring precise project monitoring.
• Ensure strict compliance with relevant codes, quality assurance, and quality control standards.
• Maintain daily communication with clients to interpret and address their needs and requirements effectively.
• Handle contractual and commercial issues involving clients, contractors, and suppliers professionally.
• Organize and lead technical and commercial workshops; participate in meetings with project officials, contractors, and suppliers.
• Identify and prepare the necessary reports to track and evaluate project progress.
• Guide the planning department in procurement, production, and installation scheduling.
• Manage project team performance, productivity, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Follow up on monthly payment applications and ensure timely payment processing.
• Submit and obtain approvals for project variations promptly.
• Monitor site quality assurance, quality control, and safety procedures in line with site standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by enforcing safety rules and regulations onsite.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• At least 5 years of experience specifically in Joinery or Interior Fit-out Works.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering supplemented with relevant training courses.
• Possession of Project Management or Contract Management certification is considered advantageous.
