Vermeer Orchards Inc. is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Apple Picker at our orchard in Aylmer, Ontario, Canada. This full-time position requires onsite work in a rural and remote agricultural environment specializing in fruit and vegetable farming.

Job Responsibilities

• Picking apples along rows and in orchard settings.
• Harvesting apple crops with precision and care.

Work Environment and Conditions

• Role involves outdoor work in a rural, remote location.
• Daily work requires walking and performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Handling weights up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
• Use of fruit harvesting equipment as necessary.

Candidate Requirements

• No formal education or prior experience required; training will be provided.
• Must have proficiency in English for communication.
• Own transportation is essential for commuting to the work site.
• Physical capability to perform hand-eye coordination tasks effectively.
• Demonstrated reliability and ability to work well as a member of a team.
