Role Overview
The AI Data Annotator position involves linking talented individuals with AI research teams needing quality labeled data. In this fully remote contract role, you will help improve AI model accuracy, safety, and usability by providing detailed feedback, labeling various data types, and composing reference responses. This position suits detail-focused persons eager to learn about AI development. Tasks include evaluating AI-generated outputs, identifying uncommon edge cases, and writing accurate answers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess AI-generated answers for accuracy, relevance, and safety, offering ratings and constructive feedback.
- Precisely annotate text, images, or other data formats following comprehensive instructions to maintain uniformity.
- Create clear and unambiguous prompts for testing AI models across multiple fields and complexities.
- Develop high-quality reference answers that set performance benchmarks for models.
- Detect and document scenarios where AI systems might underperform or err to enhance dataset quality.
- Work independently using asynchronous communication to meet deadlines and uphold quality standards.
Candidate Qualifications
- Suitable for beginners with zero to two years of experience; AI background not mandatory.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strict adherence to guidelines.
- Proficient written English abilities.
- Basic computer skills and comfort using online platforms.
