About the Role
SANY Group, a globally recognised leader in construction and heavy equipment manufacturing serving customers in over 150 countries, invites applications for a Warehouse Assistant position based in Perth, Western Australia. This full-time role is integral to enhancing and managing the warehouse operations within the expanding Australian business.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure efficient, safe, and precise management of warehouse operations and inventory control.
- Improve warehouse workflows, layouts, and stock movement to boost productivity and inventory turnover rates.
- Manage incoming and outgoing logistics, covering receipt, order picking, packing, dispatch, and liaising with freight services.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock counts and reconciliations.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies and issues related to warehouse operations and stock.
- Compile performance reports from warehouse activities and utilize data analytics to inform business strategies.
- Work in close partnership with Sales, Logistics, Procurement, and After-Sales departments to align warehouse activities with business objectives and customer requirements.
- Support continuous development and growth of SANY Australia's warehouse facilities and operations.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or management roles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of warehouse, logistics, and supply chain operations.
- Strong organizational, analytical problem-solving skills, and effective communication.
- Capability to balance multiple priorities and adapt flexibly to changing business conditions.
- A proactive approach with dedication to continuous improvement.
- Mandatory fluency in Mandarin to facilitate communication with Chinese-speaking partners.
