Overview
This position involves serving as an advanced liaison with customers, managing their orders and forecasts to ensure business objectives are met. The role includes monitoring demand trends, ensuring timely deliveries, and handling inventory liability issues by negotiating material positioning and responsibility with customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers, tracking order forecasts and delivery timelines to meet business goals.
- Address excess and obsolete inventory concerns by collaborating with customers on liability and material management.
- Assist management with pricing updates and monitor accounts receivable to guarantee timely payments and recovery for additional services provided.
- Manage technical documentation such as engineering change notices, return material authorizations, and sales order updates.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to fulfill customer requirements and resolve any technical issues.
- Support both internal and external audits, actively participate in Lean and Lean Six Sigma programs.
- Maintain organized records of correspondence between customers and the plant, prepare customer quotations, and undertake other assigned tasks.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in any discipline, or an equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Prior experience in the electronics manufacturing sector or a related industry is advantageous.
