About the Role

This position entails leading and overseeing all facets of quality management including Incoming Quality, In-Process Quality Control, Final Quality Control and Assurance, Quality System, Quality Management OL, Physical Laboratory, Quality Service, and the Business Analyst team. The goal is to maintain optimal operations regarding cost-efficiency, quality standards, productivity, safety, and equipment uptime. The role also serves as the Management Representative for the Quality Management System, encompassing standards such as ISO9001, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001, TS16949, AS9001, NADCAP, and RBA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise quality control segments: Incoming Quality, In-Process Quality Control, Final Quality Control and Assurance, Quality Systems, Physical Laboratory, and Quality Services.
  • Ensure effective manpower allocation through budgeting and forecasting for seamless operations across sections.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and supervise direct reports within the team.
  • Develop and align section-level objectives and KPIs in accordance with company and corporate goals.
  • Efficiently operate all quality control and assurance processes to meet established objectives and KPIs.
  • Plan comprehensively to maximize work efficiency, machine utilization, manpower deployment, and process control.
  • Lead and support resolution efforts for issues arising within quality control systems and laboratory processes.
  • Implement cost reduction initiatives to optimize operating expenses consistently.
  • Maintain updated documentation and ensure adherence to prescribed procedures.
  • Ensure engineers and technicians receive appropriate training, maintain qualifications, and develop to their fullest potential.
  • Enforce consistent housekeeping standards following 5S principles.
  • Execute quality programs based on Supplier Quality Assurance directives and criteria.
  • Coordinate the Business Analyst team to publish timely and accurate reports for management, corporate stakeholders, and customers including sales forecasts and quarterly business summaries.
  • Participate actively in improvement programs and undertake additional tasks as designated by supervisors.
  • Oversee operational controls and significant aspects related to the workplace environment.
  • Perform any other responsibilities assigned by superiors.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Possession of a Diploma and/or Degree in relevant fields.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in management roles.
  • Hands-on knowledge and technical expertise in PCB manufacturing processes, with a strong focus on quality management.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities alongside excellent interpersonal skills.
