Associate Engineer - Production Engineering

Job Overview

This role involves managing routine engineering tasks within the Production Department, ensuring smooth plant equipment functioning and maintenance compliance aligned with cGMP and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine engineering tasks within the Production Department.
• Implement the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) program for plant machinery like Compression, Coating, Granulation, and Packing machines according to schedules, and identify critical spare parts for production equipment.
• Maintain facility materials daily and document minor observations on the shop floor through GMP records.
• Ensure safe and healthy operations of material handling equipment.
• Analyze and manage breakdown maintenance of Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, and Utility equipment in Production.
• Maintain inventory of lubricants, grease, consumables, belts, seals, and related items.
• Coordinate with external vendors and agencies for service support and develop vendor relationships for production equipment maintenance.
• Support departmental documentation and ensure adherence to cGMP and quality systems in production activities.
• Supervise in-house projects involving plant and machinery upgrades or changes.
• Maintain air conditioning units and other utility equipment installed in the facility.
• Record and summarize daily breakdown reports monthly.
• Collaborate with external agencies on PLC validation, calibration of process machines, and engineering drawing updates.
• Track and manage engineering stock levels.
• Promote energy conservation and power management initiatives.
• Create, plan, and execute plant preventive maintenance schedules.
