Accounts Payable Manager

About the Role

Flo Mattress is one of India's rapidly expanding direct-to-consumer sleep solution brands, focusing on innovation and quality. We are looking to hire a Manager for Accounts Payable based in Andheri, Mumbai, to oversee and enhance our finance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete Accounts Payable cycle including verification of invoices, vendor payments, and reconciliation processes.
• Ensure correct recording of journal entries and accruals with timely completion of month-end closing procedures.
• Track ageing of payables, manage cash outflows, and control payment scheduling efficiently.
• Maintain compliance with GST, TDS regulations, and internal financial policies.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, and Operations teams to resolve discrepancies related to invoices and payments.
• Generate MIS reports and propose improvements to enhance Accounts Payable workflows and operational efficiency.

Candidate Requirements

• 6 to 8 years of proven experience in Accounts Payable, ideally within a D2C business setting.
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting practices including journal entries, accruals, and vendor reconciliations.
• Practical experience working with Tally ERP software and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and ability to manage various stakeholders effectively.
• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance.
