About the Role
This full-time position is based in Balcatta, Western Australia, working within the Gyprock Trade Centre. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, you will play a key role in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring operational effectiveness both in the store and warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding service to customers in both warehouse and store environments.
- Manage stock movements and maintain accurate inventory.
- Load customer orders onto trucks adhering to stringent safety protocols.
- Unload incoming stock shipments for seamless inventory replenishment.
- Assist customers by loading their vehicles manually or using a forklift as needed.
- Ensure products are correctly documented, labelled, and presented to company standards.
- Carry out warehouse operations such as order picking, inventory counts, and general cleaning.
- Contribute actively to meeting revenue and margin objectives of the store.
Working Hours
Work is scheduled Monday through Friday between 6:30am and 4:00pm, plus every third Saturday from 7:00am to 12:00pm. Overtime rates apply for hours worked beyond 38 per week, including Saturdays, providing extra earning opportunities.
Candidate Profile
- Possession of a forklift licence is advantageous or willingness to acquire one.
