Overview
Digital Prospectors is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist for a contract position based in the Greater Boston Area, requiring 2-3 days onsite per week. This role is expected to last over three years and necessitates obtaining an Interim Security Clearance before commencing work.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with management to craft job postings, recruitment approaches, and define key competencies.
- Make salary offer recommendations and negotiate initial salaries with candidates.
- Assess various employment factors including candidates' experience, education, skills, knowledge, and abilities relevant to job classification and candidate selection.
- Source candidates through multiple avenues such as social media, career fairs, agencies, and partnerships with recruiting contractors to maintain a steady pipeline of qualified applicants.
- Conduct candidate screening and interviews to identify suitable prospective hires.
- Administer applicant tracking systems and generate related reports and metric analyses.
- Facilitate the hiring process by preparing applicant assessments, providing company information to candidates, overseeing background checks and drug testing, verifying references, and supporting smooth onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent blend of education and experience.
- A minimum of three years' experience in a dynamic setting with responsibilities such as recruiting, sourcing, or managing a contingent workforce.
- Prior exposure to contingent workforce lifecycle processes, preferably with direct contingent workforce management experience.
- Proficiency in utilizing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search strings, and other sourcing techniques to identify talent.
- Experience in managing applicant tracking systems effectively.
- Ability to source talent across various labor segments including technical and non-technical fields.
- Experience conducting phone screenings and presenting qualified candidates to hiring teams.
- Knowledge of compliance issues related to contingent workforce or employment laws.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities with an aptitude for influencing and collaborating across organizational levels.
- Customer-oriented with keen attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience with Vendor Management Systems like SAP Fieldglass, Beeline, or VNDLY.
- Familiarity with SuccessFactors software.
- Advanced sourcing techniques beyond LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Recruiting experience supporting Department of Defense or government contractor positions.
- Experience sourcing candidates holding active security clearances.
