Team Overview
The Social Media Manager position resides within Outreach's Corporate Marketing and Communications division, a team of brand storytellers and strategists focused on ensuring the company's visibility and credibility in the market. Collaboration spans executives, product marketing, PR, and content teams.
Role Summary
Reporting to the Director of Communications, this role is essential in defining Outreach’s global social media presence. The position demands strategic brand storytelling combined with executive engagement, enabling a significant influence on how the company’s brand is expressed across social channels. Responsibilities include managing corporate social media, partnering with executives on social strategies, and liaising with external social media agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine Outreach’s corporate social media strategy to enhance brand recognition and engagement among revenue and technology leaders.
- Translate company priorities such as AI innovation, customer success, and leadership vision into captivating and shareable social media content.
- Lead and expand the employee advocacy program, encouraging team members to promote company content and milestones.
- Collaborate with executives to create and execute their social media strategies aligned with outreach’s voice and goals.
- Manage social media activation for product launches, campaigns, and industry events ensuring cohesive brand communication.
- Monitor social trends, conversations, and competitor activities to inform social and brand strategies.
- Track social media performance metrics and provide insights for continuous improvement.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of five years experience in social media, digital storytelling, or brand communications, preferably in B2B SaaS or tech industries.
- Proven track record in building corporate and executive social media programs that drive visibility and trust.
- Strong interest in AI and emerging technologies, eager to integrate these innovations into daily workflows.
- Superior writing and editing skills adaptable across various channels and audiences.
- In-depth knowledge of LinkedIn, including analytics and paid promotional strategies.
- Strategic thinker with creative instincts and an understanding of design in storytelling.
- Adept at cross-functional collaboration with executives, PR, marketing, content, and design teams.
- Experience with managing agencies, employee advocacy platforms, and executive thought leadership is advantageous.
