Senior Project Manager

Contract Details

This role is a 12-month contract based in Brisbane, offering a daily rate of $1050.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of a substantial enterprise system implementation from initial planning to final go-live stage.
• Oversee software vendors to ensure adherence to contractual obligations, project scope, and delivery targets.
• Coordinate activities including business analysis, architecture, system integration, data management, testing, operational readiness, and deployment.
• Spot solution gaps, evaluate their impact, and proactively control project scope, risks, and interdependencies.
• Collaborate closely with architects and technical teams to maintain sustainable integration and solution decisions.
• Provide governance oversight, progress reporting, and strategic guidance to executives and program leaders.
• Promote collaboration among business units, technology groups, and external delivery partners.

Candidate Profile

• Extensive experience managing complex enterprise technology transformation programs.
• Strong skills in vendor and commercial management, capable of challenging assumptions and verifying delivery commitments.
• Proven background in managing enterprise software implementations with significant configuration, integration, or customization efforts.
• Sound knowledge of enterprise architecture, systems integration, and technology delivery in multifaceted environments.
• Demonstrated expertise in controlling scope, identifying product gaps, managing risks, and balancing priorities across multiple workstreams.
• Excellent ability to engage stakeholders, influencing executives, business leaders, and technical teams effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Background in aviation operations.
• Experience with crew management systems.
• Knowledge of workforce management platforms.
• Familiarity with rostering or scheduling software.
• Experience in payroll systems.
• Exposure to operationally critical enterprise platforms.
