Role Overview
The Senior Account Manager at Cornerstone OnDemand in Sydney, Australia, holds a pivotal role in nurturing and expanding relationships with a portfolio of clients. This position emphasizes maintaining strong client connections to ensure satisfaction, maximizing the value clients derive from Cornerstone’s technology, and identifying new avenues for solution adoption across their business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned set of accounts to uncover and develop new growth opportunities within client organizations.
- Drive expansion of Cornerstone’s products and services across various business units and increase solution adoption.
- Collaborate with clients to create comprehensive talent management strategies aligned with their needs.
- Identify opportunities for services offerings and ensure timely renewals for all accounts.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication plans with key client stakeholders, developing relationships both horizontally and vertically within organizations.
- Lead workshops and presentations to position Cornerstone’s learning, performance, talent management, and acquisition software solutions effectively.
- Partner with clients to build strategic plans, respond to proposals, and advise on software customizations as necessary.
- Analyze customer reports and data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for long-term success.
- Coordinate across internal teams including Sales, Customer Excellence, Customer Engagement, and Support to guarantee solution delivery and service quality.
- Travel occasionally as required by client portfolio demands.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum five years of account management experience, ideally with a software sales or technology focus.
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building capabilities with a proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong expertise in managing account lifecycles including discovery, solution positioning, renewals, and growth.
- Demonstrated passion for driving customer satisfaction and achieving client success.
- Ability to consultatively recommend talent management strategies that align with client business objectives.
- Excellent organizational and follow-up skills with an aptitude for managing multiple priorities under pressure.
- A commitment to fostering diversity, inclusion, and respectful workplace culture.
- Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written, suitable for executive-level engagement.
