We are seeking a dependable and practical Scooter Mechanic dedicated to maintaining our e-scooter fleet at peak performance and safety. Bolt, a global mobility platform serving over 200 million customers across 50 countries, is committed to creating urban environments designed for people rather than cars. Originating in 2013, Bolt now offers diverse services including ride-hailing, scooter and e-bike rentals, food delivery, and car sharing, propelled by small autonomous teams and significant funding.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance and repair work to uphold the highest quality standards for e-scooters.
• Examine scooters in operation to detect and address mechanical or electrical issues promptly.
• Perform safety and quality checks prior to releasing scooters for customer use.
• Prepare new scooters for deployment by unpacking, completing thorough inspections, installing necessary equipment, and troubleshooting defects.
• Support warehouse functions including inventory control, battery management, shipment handling, and overall workspace upkeep.

Candidate Profile

• Exhibits meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all maintenance tasks.
• Proficient with various hand and power tools essential for repairing mechanical devices.
• Displays initiative and ownership in approaching challenges with a hands-on attitude.
• Possesses experience repairing mechanical or electronic equipment, ideally related to automotive or electronic sectors.
• Comfortable using smartphones and has proficient local language communication skills.
• Additional assets include English proficiency and forklift certification.
