Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Parts Advisor to join our Porsche dealership located in Hull. This full-time position operates Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, with Saturday shifts on a rotational basis. The role includes a base salary plus monthly bonuses, offering an on-target earning potential of £28,500 annually.
Role Summary
The Parts Advisor plays a vital role interacting across sales, service departments, and directly with customers. Responsibilities include supplying Porsche parts to various clientele including the public, trade, and in-house workshops. This position suits individuals passionate about delivering excellent customer service within a prestigious automotive environment.
Key Duties
- Manage diverse tasks including processing incoming deliveries and assisting customers at the front desk.
- Prepare and pick parts for workshop job cards and customer orders, checking stock availability.
- Develop customer relationships through inbound/outbound calls, in-person visits, and internet inquiries by providing detailed product knowledge and positive first impressions.
- Maintain adequate stocks of consumables and service parts to support workshops, trade, and retail customers efficiently.
- Handle warranty claims related to parts issues, completing all administration accurately and promptly, including invoicing and customer records.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of Porsche products and their functions to better assist customers.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience as a parts advisor within a dealership or motor factor knowledge in a similar franchise or specialist parts company is preferred.
- Applicants with a strong understanding of cars and eagerness to learn will also be considered and trained.
- Excellent communication, organizational skills, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are required.
- Must be proactive, sales-oriented, and committed to exceptional customer service standards.
- Ability to build rapport with customers quickly and work professionally under tight deadlines is essential.
