Role Overview
The Outcomes organization drives customer success and business outcomes using Notion. The Outcomes Growth Strategy & Programs Lead will craft and scale global initiatives, routines, and programs that significantly boost expansion within the existing customer base. This is a vital role combining strategic planning, analytics, and program management to foster methodical and accelerated growth worldwide.
Based in San Francisco, the role requires in-office presence on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays—the company’s Anchor Days—when collective planning and building happen.
Initial 90 Days Plan
- Master Notion's post-sales operational and regional growth frameworks.
- Collaborate with Revenue Operations, Data Science, Finance, Sales, Outcomes, and Services teams to identify key retention and expansion drivers and leading indicators.
- Determine immediate priority growth programs or tactics.
- Develop detailed program plans, success metrics, stakeholder charts, and operational cadence for these initiatives.
- Work with regional teams to tailor global programs to local market needs.
- Produce clear documentation, field resources, and executive updates to ensure alignment and action.
- Create repeatable review cycles to monitor progress, capture insights, and refine approaches.
Key Achievements Expected
- Establish a unified understanding of growth drivers including adoption, retention, and expansion.
- Design and implement scalable international programs supporting adoption, value realization, and cross-selling.
- Collaborate with regional and functional leaders to translate local insights into standard playbooks and operating rhythms.
- Develop reporting and measurement systems that spotlight effectiveness and focus areas.
- Assist in structuring customer growth motions integrating Sales, Services, and Partners.
- Document and institutionalize growth best practices into routine operations instead of isolated campaigns.
- Bring clarity and structure to ambiguous cross-functional programs and shepherd them from concept through execution.
Required Qualifications
- Background in management consulting, investment banking, business operations, or post-sales go-to-market functions.
- Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities, able to define frameworks from vague business challenges.
- Demonstrated success in designing and managing cross-team programs from strategy to delivery.
- Skillful stakeholder engagement including senior leadership alignment.
- Excellent written communication producing sharp strategy documents, program plans, executive briefings, and practitioner guides.
- Experience working in global organizations balancing central strategy with regional customization.
- Proactive, autonomous work style able to prioritize and organize in dynamic, uncertain environments.
- Keen business sense and curiosity about what fuels customer behavior and growth.
Preferred But Not Required
- Knowledge of usage-based, consumption-based, or product-led growth approaches.
- History of building or scaling global initiatives spanning different geographies or customer types.
- Exposure to pricing, packaging, partnerships, and monetization strategies.
Compensation and Policy Notes
