Job description
Overview
We are hiring a Metering Operations Coordinator based in Dublin for a 12-month contract role aimed at managing and improving the efficiency of metering field operations. Reporting directly to the Metering Services Manager, the coordinator will handle end-to-end metering task management, including work orders, scheduling, quality checks, stakeholder communication, and operational data analysis.
Key Duties
- Generate and manage work orders for issues such as customer complaints, meter changes, new installations, and data logger surveys.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of requests before dispatching jobs.
- Assist in managing backlogs and prioritizing urgent tasks.
- Plan and assign tasks to field engineers by considering location, skill sets, workload, and business priorities.
- Collaborate with regional leadership to allocate work effectively across areas and support expansion into new locations.
- Conduct quality assurance by reviewing work orders and addressing those needing follow-up actions such as data corrections, system amendments, or revisit scheduling.
- Help resolve escalated complaints and operational challenges.
- Use data analysis to identify trends and operational gaps, maintaining performance reports with Power BI.
- Serve as a liaison among regional leads, field teams, customers, IT departments, and other partners to communicate work progress and operational queries.
- Support system management including Maximo and workforce management tools, aiding job plan creation, testing, and rollout.
- Contribute to business transformation initiatives and continuous process improvements.
Required Experience & Skills
- Background in operational coordination, scheduling, dispatch, or workforce management within field service or utilities.
- Familiarity with Maximo and C2M systems is highly advantageous.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills supported by experience with asset management systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for data interpretation and report generation.
- Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail and quality assurance.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to independently manage workload in a dynamic context.
- Customer service-oriented with a commitment to service excellence.
