Role Overview
This position supports the store from behind the scenes by keeping merchandise moving, organized, and ready for the sales floor. You’ll be part of a team that values reliability, clear communication, and a positive attitude in a busy retail setting.
What You’ll Do
- Check incoming merchandise, then sort, tag, grade, and price items according to company guidelines.
- Arrange and hang product by category, size, and colour on rolling racks.
- Help manage donation intake, stock replenishment, floor resets, and preparation for sale events.
- Carry out daily processing tasks to keep inventory moving at a steady pace.
- Apply colour-tag rotation correctly and label bins accurately to maintain fresh stock flow.
- Work efficiently while still meeting quality standards.
- Keep the processing area tidy, safe, and free from hazards.
- Follow all required PPE, lifting, and safety procedures.
- Escalate hazards or incidents and help maintain safe access in the work area.
- Participate in daily team huddles and communicate effectively with colleagues and leaders.
- Support housekeeping and contribute to a respectful, productive workplace.
Availability
This role requires open availability, including weekends, holidays, closing shifts, and coverage across days and evenings.
Pay
The hourly wage for this position is $18.25.

Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Comfort working in a busy, physical, hands-on environment.
- Positive, team-oriented communication style.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, and move throughout the shift.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and push or pull rolling containers up to 500 lbs.
- Willingness to work in conditions that may include dust, dirt, insects, garbage, occasional rodents, noise, and changing temperatures.
- Availability on days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Regular interaction with customers and the public.
Preferred Experience
- Background in warehouse work, inventory processing, or back-of-house retail operations.
- Exposure to thrift or second-hand merchandise and basic condition grading.
- Comfort using personal protective equipment and following basic health and safety routines.
