About the Role and Company

Join Yugo Bottleworks, a modern student accommodation facility located centrally in Cork, Cork County, Ireland. We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to be part of our team, working 40 hours per week to ensure our living spaces maintain their high standard and provide students with a safe, welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain the property’s appearance and functionality at a consistently high standard.
• Guarantee the safety and security of students at all times within the accommodation.
• Execute scheduled and emergency maintenance assignments, including first line maintenance duties and collaboration with specialist contractors as needed.
• Regularly clean and upkeep communal areas to maintain hygiene and order.
• Ensure waste disposal areas are orderly and manage regular bin rotation.
• Conduct periodic health and safety inspections, including fire safety checks, risk assessments, and legionella water testing.
• Manage personal health and safety responsibilities as mandated by legislation, ensuring well-being for self and others and cooperating with employer safety policies.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone with previous experience in maintenance, security, or facilities management, showing a proactive attitude towards troubleshooting and problem resolution. While a relevant trade qualification is advantageous, it is not mandatory.
