Role Overview

If you are compassionate, determined, and passionate about supporting others' growth, you will thrive as a Job Coach. This role involves empowering clients to build confidence, develop job readiness skills, and progress towards meaningful employment, while working closely with a team guided by values of Integrity, Compassion, Determination, and Thriving Together.

The position is based in Batemans Bay with travel required to Narooma.

Responsibilities

  • Encourage and coach clients through personalized activities supporting their employment journey.
  • Collaborate with employers and the Employer Engagement team to connect clients with appropriate job prospects.
  • Assist in securing lasting employment outcomes and support clients who may be at risk of job loss.
  • Work with internal and external partners to connect clients to relevant resources and programs.
  • Maintain precise records and ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • No prior experience in Employment Services is necessary; comprehensive training is provided.
  • Previous experience in customer service or client-facing roles.
  • Genuine interest in helping individuals overcome barriers.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in engaging diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to stay organized and work in a structured, goal-oriented environment.
  • Possession of a current driver's license.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
