About the Role
Join a premier global growth equity firm as an Investment Associate based in Munich, Germany. This role involves working with category-leading European businesses, partnering with passionate founders and management to foster growth through strategic support, international scaling, operational improvements, and technology-led transformations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze potential investments in technology, consumer, healthcare, financial services, and business services sectors.
- Develop comprehensive financial models, perform valuations, and craft investment cases.
- Lead commercial, financial, and strategic due diligence with top-tier advisers.
- Prepare materials for investment committees and communicate insights to senior stakeholders.
- Support deal execution throughout the full transaction lifecycle.
- Collaborate with portfolio company leaders on strategic projects and growth initiatives.
- Monitor portfolio company performance and uncover opportunities to enhance value.
- Engage in deal origination, market analysis, and networking across the European market.
Candidate Profile
- Between 1 to 5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, growth equity, venture capital, or management consulting with substantial transaction exposure.
- Strong abilities in financial modelling and valuation assessment.
- Excellent analytical thinking paired with sound commercial judgment.
- A pronounced enthusiasm for investing in rapidly growing companies.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Comfort engaging directly with entrepreneurs, founders, and senior leaders.
- Fluent in both German and English languages.
