Hostmind Restaurant LLC is a multi-brand cloud kitchen company located in Dubai Marina. It operates various food concepts such as Soak'd, Season'd, Burgr'd, Mom & Chef, and Cook'd from shared kitchen hubs and is currently expanding its operations.

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team and contribute to building our beverage and front-counter services. This role involves crafting and serving coffee, tea, and specialty drinks to high-quality standards while providing warm, efficient service at a customer-facing counter. The Barista will significantly impact the brand's customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages according to Hostmind's recipes and presentation guidelines.
Operate, maintain, and clean espresso machines, grinders, and other beverage equipment.
Welcome customers, accurately take orders, and handle beverage transactions using the point-of-sale system.
Ensure consistent quality and speed of service, particularly during busy periods.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter, beverage station, and equipment aligning with hygiene and standard operating procedures.
Track and manage stock inventory of items like coffee, milk, syrups, and cups; report shortages early.
Comply with all food and beverage safety regulations, hygiene practices, and HACCP standards.
Address customer inquiries, requests, and feedback professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
Collaborate closely with kitchen and counter teams to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Assist with setting up and training at new branch openings as part of the company’s expansion plans.

Essential Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in the food and beverage sector with deep knowledge of operational practices and customer service standards.
Proven hands-on barista experience with skills in beverage preparation and latte art/presentation.
Comfortable working at a fast-paced, customer-facing counter.
Good understanding of food safety and hygiene protocols.
Flexible availability to work shifts including weekends and public holidays in compliance with UAE Labour Law.

Preferred Qualifications & Attributes

Barista certification or formal coffee training is an advantage.
Previous experience in cloud kitchens, quick-service restaurants, or multi-brand food environments is beneficial.
Proficient in spoken English; Arabic language skills are a plus for communicating with a diverse clientele.
Friendly, customer-oriented demeanor with strong attention to detail in beverage presentation.
Basic skills in cash handling and point-of-sale operations.
