Job description

Role Overview

We seek a skilled Change Analyst to contribute significantly to successful organizational change initiatives within a varied portfolio focused on transformation and continuous improvement. This role forms a vital part of an important 10-year strategic delivery plan aimed at enhancing support for the Armed Forces community.

Organizational Context

The Change & Transformation function has updated its structure to a capability-led model emphasizing Change, Delivery, and Reporting. This framework ensures strong leadership, governance, effective delivery, change support, and portfolio insights that drive and maintain organizational transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the organization's readiness for planned changes by identifying potential impacts, risks, dependencies, and opportunities across personnel, processes, and systems.
  • Contribute to crafting cases for change, designing change management plans, and shaping adoption strategies that facilitate successful implementations.
  • Collaborate extensively with sponsors, project teams, and other stakeholders through facilitating workshops, gathering valuable input, and fostering commitment towards change.
  • Perform detailed analyses of business processes and change-related data to provide insights and recommendations supporting decision-making and ongoing improvements.
  • Assist with training initiatives, user adoption efforts, and conducting post-implementation reviews aimed at maximizing benefits and ensuring long-term success of change projects.

Working Arrangements

The position is primarily remote, with contracting to the employee's home base. Periodic travel, including monthly team meetings, is expected.

Compensation and Benefits

The remuneration package ranges from £44,000 to £50,000 annually.

  • 28 days annual paid leave, excluding bank holidays, which increases with service length, plus an option to purchase up to 5 additional leave days annually.
  • Enhanced maternity, paternity, and adoption leave.
  • Generous pension scheme with employer contributions between 6% and 14%, tied to service duration.
  • Flexible working options depending on role requirements.
  • Employee Assistance Programme providing confidential support including counselling, financial, and legal advice.
  • Access to professional development courses delivered by learning specialists.
  • Opportunities to volunteer within the organization.
  • Additional benefits including travel loans and the Cycle to Work scheme.

Inclusion and Equal Opportunity

The organization is committed to diversity and seeks to reflect the broad demographic of the armed forces community and society at large. Applications from all backgrounds are encouraged. Specific interview schemes support candidates declaring an Armed Forces connection and/or disability, contingent on meeting essential criteria.

Additional Information

Interview sessions are scheduled for 3rd and 4th September. The vacancy may close earlier if a sufficient number of qualified applications are received, so early application is advised.
