Key Responsibilities
- Lead and guide the warehouse team to achieve operational goals.
- Hold team members accountable for their tasks and performance.
- Maintain strict adherence to warehouse safety standards at all times.
- Coordinate with various branches to ensure prompt delivery of materials to customers.
- Communicate with freight companies and both internal and external customers to establish shipping priorities.
- Ensure cleanliness and safety procedures are consistently upheld in the shipping area.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment is essential.
- Familiarity with industrial products is considered advantageous.
- Basic proficiency in computers, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication skills and exceptional customer service orientation.
- Dependable, reliable, and a self-starter willing to take initiative.
- Ability to regularly lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Forklift certification or readiness to obtain certification.
- WHMIS and TDG certifications are beneficial but not mandatory.
