Job Overview
Advance Auto Parts is seeking a dependable Store Driver to support our Toccoa, GA location. This role involves precisely picking, staging, and delivering automotive parts to professional clients, handling returns, and assisting with store operations to promote business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely pick, prepare, and deliver parts to professional customers on schedule.
- Retrieve returned items and core parts from customers.
- Distribute weekly and monthly promotional sales flyers while actively informing customers of ongoing sales and loyalty rewards.
- Collect payments from credit account holders daily.
- Develop and maintain strong connections with MainStreet and National professional clientele, providing insightful feedback to the Customer Parts Professional (CPP) from delivery interactions.
- Support upselling and cross-selling to boost average order value.
- Ensure the store remains clean and organized, including upkeep of floors, restrooms, product-facing, dusting, and parking lot maintenance.
- Perform general inventory tasks, including stocking the truck, back stock management, and conducting cycle counts.
- Stay knowledgeable about inventory and new products to assist in customer engagement and sales.
- Engage walk-in customers, assess their needs, and recommend appropriate parts or services.
- Fulfill additional tasks as assigned.

Essential Skills
- Proficient in English communication, both spoken and written. Bilingual in Spanish is advantageous.
- Able to comprehend and follow safety rules, operating instructions, parts catalogs, and procedural manuals.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including various days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
- Confident in customer interaction and promoting products effectively.
- Eagerness to learn about new automotive products and sales strategies.
Preferred Experience & Education
- Previous experience working with automotive parts is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is required.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
The job requires regular walking and standing, with frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds and occasional assisted lifting up to 100 pounds. The role involves use of hands for handling products, talking and hearing for communication, and physical behaviors such as climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching. Good vision including depth perception, color, distance, and close focus is necessary. The work environment is typically indoors but occasionally outdoors exposed to weather, mechanical parts, chemicals, electrical risks, and moderate noise.
