About Georgiou and the Role
Join Georgiou, a part of STRABAG SE, for the Wave Stage 1 Brownfield package at Beerwah Coast Connect Alliance. This role involves critical upgrades to Beerwah's rail infrastructure, including major station renovation and integration with the North Coast Line and the Beerburrum–Nambour Rail Upgrade. Key Responsibilities
- Support the Project Manager in meeting contractual obligations and project site objectives across business functions.
- Develop short-term schedules including determining required resources for specific project areas.
- Ensure timely availability of equipment, materials, and labor to meet work program deadlines.
- Engage actively in safety programs such as toolbox meetings, pre-starts, inductions, job hazard analyses, and work practice reviews.
- Assist in invoice handling, cost processing, and preparation of productivity reports and analyses as necessary.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer within civil construction projects.
- Solid understanding and application of project management plans.
- Track record of leading safety meetings and commitment to health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) standards.
- Ability to manage control systems for labor, plant, and material resources.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for stakeholder management and issue resolution.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
