Overview
EY Ireland is seeking a talented Senior Graphic Designer to join its in-house creative department located in Dublin. This team leads the visual branding and production for major go-to-market campaigns and events, encompassing various creative disciplines such as graphic and presentation design, animation, filming, photography, and broadcast media.
Role Responsibilities
- Design and develop conceptual visuals and identities for key campaign initiatives.
- Ensure high standards of creativity and quality, influencing clients toward impactful design solutions.
- Lead strategic creative projects across multiple platforms in close collaboration with the creative team and stakeholders.
- Participate in or facilitate design briefings to identify and address stakeholder challenges effectively.
- Uphold EY’s global visual brand identity and ensure its consistent application.
- Build and nurture collaborative relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Delegate tasks appropriately among creative team members with guidance from Design Lead and Operations.
- Mentor and support junior creative team members, fostering their professional growth.
- Help cultivate a dynamic and enjoyable creative culture and represent the team as an ambassador.
- Manage vendor relationships to guarantee print and digital deliverables meet precise specifications.
- Support leadership initiatives and proactively identify and resolve opportunities and challenges.
Skills and Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to generate concept-driven visuals with a portfolio showcasing this expertise.
- Minimum 4-5 years of professional experience within an agency, in-house environment, or freelance capacity.
- Formal qualification in Visual Communications or a related design discipline.
- Experienced in producing diverse digital assets, including interactive media.
- Knowledgeable in various print production methods.
- Strong interpersonal skills for maintaining productive stakeholder and colleague relationships.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
- Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects to support minor motion design projects.
- Competent with Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint.
- Adaptable to shifting priorities and deadlines with a composed and positive attitude.
- Ability to grasp business objectives and their influence on project execution.
- Portfolio submission is a mandatory part of the application process.
Hiring Process
Shortlisted candidates invited to the second interview stage will be required to complete a small design assignment demonstrating design thinking and competency on Mac systems.
