About the Role
Our client, a dynamic brand identity studio based near Orewa/Silverdale, Auckland, crafts complete and high-performing brand experiences for ambitious clients across New Zealand, Australia, and the United States. Their portfolio spans sectors like candy, beauty, hospitality, food, fitness, and pet products, delivering standout visual identities and packaging that lead the market. This senior position offers creative leadership with opportunities to shape design systems and mentor team members. Although primarily an on-site role, remote working options are available for exceptional candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end brand identity projects, from initial concept through to final delivery.
- Enhance and develop strong, cohesive design systems that unify brand experiences.
- Maintain consistent quality and cohesiveness across all creative outputs.
- Provide mentorship and creative guidance to design team members.
- Serve as the primary creative resource to address and overcome design challenges.
- Collaborate with account and project management teams to prioritize and streamline creative workflows.
- Drive continuous improvements within the creative processes of the team.

Experience and Skills Required

- Proven capability to lead projects and elevate team output creatively.
- Advanced skills with Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
- Strong proficiency in digital vector illustration techniques.
- Ability to conceive original, thoughtful, and impactful design solutions.

Additional Information
