Overview
This permanent position as a restaurant manager offers the opportunity to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment located in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The manager will be responsible for supervising a team of 11 to 15 employees and ensuring efficient operation and profitability of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and develop budgets to optimize restaurant profitability including food, beverage, kitchen, and cleaning supplies costs.
- Regularly assess daily operational effectiveness and adjust food preparation methods and menu pricing accordingly to stay within budget.
- Monitor revenue streams to manage labor costs effectively.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise staff to maintain high performance and service standards.
- Plan and organize daily activities and operational procedures, determining the scope of services offered to customers.
- Conduct performance evaluations and maintain accurate inventory management.
Technical Skills and Work Environment
- Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, and MS Office suite.
- Ability to manage workload in a fast-moving, physically demanding setting with strong attention to detail.

- Highly dependable and accurate with excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, organizational abilities, reliability, and capacity to multitask efficiently in a team setting.
Working Conditions
- Work schedule includes shifts in the morning, day, evening, and weekends, approximately 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Work language is English.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education level: College or CEGEP diploma.
- Experience: Between 2 to less than 3 years in a similar role.
