  • Collaborate with stakeholders to navigate commercial challenges, manage risks and opportunities, and add value aligned with ACC’s strategic objectives.
  • Work as part of a procurement partnering model alongside Senior Procurement Partners and Advisors to maintain visibility of upcoming demand and support business planning.
  • Operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple competing priorities and delivering consistent results.

Candidate Profile

  • Extensive experience managing complex procurement processes, preferably within public sector or similarly complex environments.
  • Sound understanding and pragmatic application of New Zealand Government Procurement Rules (NZGPR) for value-driven outcomes.
  • Proven ability to develop procurement strategies aligned with organisational priorities.
  • Strong workload management skills and ability to progress parallel projects independently.
  • Effective relationship building and collaborative skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A partnership approach, demonstrating trust-building, influencing, and turning insights into actionable outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and influencing capabilities.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with adaptability to evolving working methods.
  • Must have current work rights for New Zealand.

Benefits and Culture

  • Competitive salary range between NZD 101,287 and NZD 142,993 based on experience and capability.
  • 9% employer superannuation contribution with no mandatory employee contribution.
  • Optional life and income protection insurance available.
  • Diverse and inclusive workplace supporting cultural richness and equitable opportunities.
  • Employee networks promoting inclusion of diverse backgrounds.
  • Flexible working options tailored to suit employee and organisational needs.
