Role Overview

We seek a motivated, detail-focused Junior Accounts Payable professional to join our team. This entry-level role offers valuable exposure and skill development in financial accounting within a fast-paced environment. The candidate will assist daily accounting tasks while ensuring precision in financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify and process invoices related to received goods and services.
• Ensure consistency between purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documents.
• Prepare and perform payments to suppliers regularly.
• Maintain comprehensive records of accounts payable activities.
• Address vendor queries regarding payment and invoice statuses.
• Help reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
• Review and process employee expense reports.
• Contribute to the month-end closing by timely handling of invoices.
• Organize and file documentation relevant for auditing and compliance.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to solve payment-related issues.

Qualifications

• Prior experience within an accounting department.
• Higher education in finance, accounting, or related fields preferred.
• Proficiency in the English language is mandatory.
• Strong command of MS Excel.
• Analytical mindset with problem identification and resolution capabilities.
• Proactive and team-oriented work approach.
• Attributes such as independence, reliability, dedication, and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with financial systems like Oracle, Optima, or Symfonia.

Additional Details

The position is located at Kompleksi e-88, Laprake, Tirana. Work hours total 40 per week, Monday through Friday. Interested candidates should submit their CV in English.
