Finance Reporting Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Develop monthly financial forecasts and actual performance reports, alongside yearly budgets, focusing on various Profit & Loss and Key Performance Indicator metrics, followed by uploading and verification in the system.
• Create and share comprehensive financial reports and dashboards with management, highlighting significant performance indicators, trends, and comparative analyses including budget variance, year-over-year changes, and business mix ratios.
• Perform detailed variance analysis between actual results, latest forecasts, budgets, and previous forecasts, providing explanations for major discrepancies and supporting strategic and operational decision-making.
• Maintain data accuracy by performing validation and reconciliation of financial data.
• Assist with special business events such as Business Reviews, long-term 3-Year Plans, and other ad hoc projects to answer specific business questions or challenges.
• Collaborate actively with various internal teams including Finance, Sales, Operations, and Human Resources for gathering data, clarifications, and reconciliations.
• Ensure all financial processes adhere to internal controls and governance standards, including updated Standard Operating Procedures and validation checks in reporting.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Basic understanding of accounting principles along with reporting and analytical techniques.
• Familiarity with financial processes and financial statement analysis.
• Comprehension of Profit & Loss statements and the factors influencing various KPIs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
