Job Overview
As a Software Engineer, you will engage in the full software development lifecycle including designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing software applications and solutions. Your work will involve applying scientific approaches to effectively solve engineering challenges and advancing professional software engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize methodical techniques to analyze and resolve issues in software engineering.
- Create, develop, and maintain software solutions while applying sound software engineering principles and practices.
- Demonstrate original thinking and judgment in your work, and oversee the technical and administrative output of other engineering team members.
- Continuously enhance your expertise within your software engineering discipline to meet established role standards.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team with fellow engineers and stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
Applicants should have over one year of relevant professional experience. A solid grasp of programming paradigms, software design, and development fundamentals is expected. Candidates should be able to work under general guidance, delivering precise and dependable results, manage various tasks and challenges, organize their schedule effectively around medium-term goals, and cooperate with others to achieve common objectives. Decision-making is based on situational insight rather than strict adherence to rules.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is CAD 70000 to CAD 90000 annually. The actual pay awarded depends on factors such as location, qualifications, certifications, experience, performance, and market conditions. Additional earnings may include bonuses, commissions, or other incentives as applicable.
